just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed your podcast and think it’s an excellent addition to the Atari podcast scene. While productivity software has aged a lot more than most games, it’s a good idea to remind us how groundbreaking many products were in the 1980s. The address collections I use are the great-grandchildren of the Data Perfect file I started on my Atari and transferred from machine to machine. It’s hard to imagine today that doing high school papers on a word processor was “novel to nerdy” in 1985/6 when my son turns in papers via mail.
Looking forward to listen about software I loved to use (Word Perfect, Data Perfect, Print Shop), read about or don’t know yet.
